House of Views

House of views, designed in collaboration with Freight Architects, was completed in 2020.

Inspired by the Chinese Garden Concept. A series of pavilions and volumes are arranged around a central garden with small scenes set up as one wanders through the house and garden. The pavilions become apertures to view and frame the scenes and “borrowed scenery” in the gardens. Corridors, walls and buildings becomes foreground and backdrop for the gardens.
